Sugarella came by the coffee shop today. DJ Tiffany was spinning great tunes and Barista Aero was serving up black forest cupcakes. Various folks came by. Sugarella and I had some time to sit on donut chairs and talk about girl stuff.

I was doing a bit of midweek work at the coffee shop, waxing the dance floor and such. Simmy (simone1415) dropped by to take a look at the shop. She’s been wanting to visit one of our Sunday parties but hasn’t had a chance yet. We danced and talked for a while.

Coming of Age in Second Life
In 2008 University of California, Irvine Anthropologist Tom Boellstorff published his book Coming of Age in Second Life. Later that same year I signed up and made an SL avatar. Now, 14 years later, I think I’m old enough to read his book!
