Like Nuit is today, Chocolate was a club that didn’t try to have DJs and dancing 24/7. Instead they focused on one great 3 hour party on Saturday night. One difference between the clubs: when it’s not Saturday night, Nuit doesn’t exist at all. The Chocolate club was there all week long. I stomped through many times. But it was an unassuming pumpkin. It was funny to see the ordinary “pumpkin” and then on Saturday night to see it suddenly transformed into an amazing Cinderella‘s coach of a dance club.
I had actually forgotten about Chocolate!
Then I found this photo of Jami and I dancing there!
One more Camelot fragment of SL history that managed to break its head through the ice sheet and rise above sea level for a while, and then recede back into the undifferentiated SL mainland.
My Chocolate LM‘s are long gone now. Which is actually good. The saddest experience of all, I’m sure you’ve had it, is to click the LM for an old beloved spot, only to discover that the place is gone, and a security orb is cussing at you that it’s going to vaporize you in 10 seconds.
