Odia and I metup at a new café, Le Petit Journal at Village de Roqueblanche by Albane Claray. We were meeting for morning coffee, but Odia was a little upset about romantic things and didn’t have any, and I had a coke, so not exactly “morning coffee” despite the perfect location.
Honestly, who has the fortitude to resist the thrall of effervescent, caramel-colored, sugar water sipped through a straw? That kind of restraint is far above my pay grade. And anyway, I’m not into “restraint” anymore.
