Amanda’s been busy!
I metup with Amanda Butterbunns for a tour of the overwhelmingly vast cave system she’s bored beneath her parcel. It’s a good thing she provides torches, it’s dark! And long. With creaky ladders down to rooms glowing with mushrooms and jewels. At the lowest areas there are large water-filled sections of cave that we waded through.
Amanda’s nearly done and the installation is amazing. Since we already missed Spring/Fall Equinox, perhaps we could hold a Summer/Winter Solstice ritual down in the caves. They’re gorgeous and earthen and beg for some inspired ceremonies. Think William Hurt visiting the Hinchi Indians in Altered States!
