Odia and I took our holiday card photo at the Miami District today.
Precious Odia just spent three days at the SL “2022 Holiday Shop & Hop” where she visited 320 shops spread across 16 regions and collected piles of discounted & free loot!
Odia called me over to Stealthic for a great L$50 hair deal. I bought it mostly to humor her. Then, because momma apparently has zero fashion sense, I found myself totally loving it! Now that I had nice, new hair, Odia felt free to tell me how ugly she thought my old hair was! Kids today! No filters!!!
Odia and I metup at a new café, Le Petit Journal at Village de Roqueblanche by Albane Claray. We were meeting for morning coffee, but Odia was a little upset about romantic things, and I had a a coke, so not exactly “morning coffee” despite the perfect location.
Toward the end of September my daughter Odia and I were getting excited to join The Nature Collective’s “Fall Hunt” and go looking for acorns! We waited for October 1st to finally arrive! And then got busy and kept missing each other all month! Finally, today we had a chance to go hunting for acorns!
Odia and I were having coffee at Jitters Coffee Shop & Waterfront when who should turn up but Odia’s long lost friend from 13 years ago, Hero Blessed!
Odia and I went to visit New Moon Cottage, a cool wiccan bog and house.
Odia had to see momma’s new tan and non-black clothes. My skin’s darker than Odia’s now! Was she happy? Of course not! Now she says I’m too short!!!
Yesterday I went out on a limb and got a tan. Today I went off the deep end and bought non-black clothing! Who am I???
I always *say* I’d do anything for my daughter Odia. Mostly, I guess, from the guilt from not being there for her for so many years. Today Goth Mommy is finally getting the tan Odia’s always bugging her to get. Off to the Tannification Cosmetarium! Join me… if you dare!
Odia and I had a chance for a late nite cup of coffee (decaf, of course!) and to visit for a while. We metup at Anastasia Falcor Herrera’s delightful Lost in Pages Books & Cafe Lounge.
Meeting Odia’s friends Rebecca & Kitten at their new club Sappho’s Hidden Cove.
Baby girl is all grown up. Oh, and I hadn’t seen her in a year!
Good times with my daughter.
I was kind of a deadbeat mommy when Odia was young. CPS took her away. I’ve always felt guilty about this failure.
Odia and I lived in an old air hangar. She drank a lot of milk.
Baby girl Odia Sparta came to see her working mommy!
Odia the plastic dolly became Baby Odia. The experience was powerful for both of us.
At The Doll Works with Odia the plastic dolly.
At home with my dollies.
My two plastic dollies, Toana Terasaur and Odia Sparta, got to dance together in Vaneeesa Blaylock’s performance “I Advance Masked”.
I’ve never bid on a doll, or slave, or person before. Or since. But on this one day something special was in the air. I wandered by the always fun Doll Works sim and what should I find going on but a doll auction.
