I’ve never bid on a doll, or slave, or person before. Or since. But on this one day something special was in the air. I wandered by the always fun Doll Works sim and what should I find going on but a doll auction.
And then something truly special happened. As the auctioneer brought up different dolls for auction, finally Toana Terasaur came up. She was the prettiest doll I’d ever seen and I was suddenly bidding on her and won. And then the auctioneer brought this special girl Odia up. Odia was just the best girl and I decided I was going to take her home with me. At least one other person felt the same and we wound up in a bidding war! I kept bidding and eventually won the right to take Odia home with me. Only after we got home did Odia tell me that the person I had outbid was her actual owner at the time!

Zuckerberg’s “Metaverse” is in trouble. Meanwhile, SL keeps pressing on. Even so, don’t take it for granted. SL could die, or changes to SL, or changes in your life, could cause this beautiful dream to end. Even if the dream does continue, beloved characters might exit the stage. Savor every moment.
