Hiya! I’m Butter! A fiorentina and new SL avatar. I’m too shy to write my own biography, so here’s my bio written by my twin sister, Sugar Lagmore:
Butter and I rezzed on 27 October 2025 in a small village on the outskirts of Firenze, Italia. Butter is an Italian fashion model whose waifish figure and natural look redefined the industry in the 2020s and who later became a cultural icon.
We had a wonderful childhood and would play out in the street or among the trees, ride our bikes, or play volleyball. Butter’s love of animals also blossomed early. She was devoted to taking care of our Zooby dogs and cats and was especially drawn to horses. Butter was fearless! In fact, she was bold about everything, very adventurous and loved the adrenaline.
As a child, Butter was active in different sports, from ballet to gymnastics to track & field and volleyball. On the court, she stood out not only because of her height but also her devotion to the sport. Even though being tall was great for sports, it didn’t do much for Butter’s self-esteem as a teenager. Kids made fun of her and the boys tagged with nicknames like “Olive Oil,” because she was tall and thin. And at parties, it was hard for Butter to find a boy her height to dance with.
At the age of 14, Butter was discovered by the owner of a modeling agency. She caught the attention of the fashion industry when a series of stark, unstylized photographs of her were published in the youth style magazine JuicyBomb. With her natural look and street style Butter launched a new era in modeling.
Butter signed with SL designer Maitreya, and appeared in ads for the brand that highlighted her very thin frame clothed in skimpy attire. A photo spread in New World Notes caused a furor, as Butter was accused of promoting anorexia. She became the symbol for the so-called “heroin chic” generation that followed the grunge style.
Butter’s personal life has also been well documented in SL blogs. Her marriage to, and divorce from, a Blake Sea rocker were popular targets, as was her partying lifestyle.
Tired of her hectic life, Butter took a break from her career. She visited homeless avatars living in favelas on the outskirts of Bellisseria and saw up close the problems the community faced due to deforestation and polluted rivers. Butter visited The Far Away and learned about the challenges in keeping Second Life creative projects alive over time. Since then, she has championed environmental causes and supported countless projects.
Despite the fame and the huge success, Butter hasn’t lost her essence. She is still down-to-earth and continually seeks to improve herself as a person.
