It’s always fun when the region you logged out from is offline and you get sent to a nearby telehub. Usually you’re dropped into a giant flock of avatars. Today it was only a few. But an even better chance to compare bodies. As always, there are just so many bodies in SL. Every size and shape imaginable. Forget whatever you think makes sense or what height synchronizes with architecture and your viewer camera. We live in the land of you-do-you. And who can complain about that?
In her book For The Time Being, Annie Dillard quotes the serial killer Ted Bundy who couldn’t understand all the fuss about his crimes, Bundy said,
