New Clothes
I ran over to my favorite shop in Second Life, Fhara K. Ricielli (Fhara Acacia)’s “Ricielli” and bought a new three-piece outfit, “Lolla” consisting of a fun strappy top, pants, and a short cardigan. I love it! Of the twenty outfits I currently wear, sixteen are by Fhara Ricielli. Her work speaks to me and feels right.
It’s been a long time since Charly December and I wore Kai Heideman’s latex catsuits for hours and days on end. I’ve been a Ricielli girl for years now, and “Lolla” is a wonderful outfit to launch me into 2026.
Freshening Up My Haircolor
Next stop: my favorite salon in Second Life, Doux. I took a seat in Dᴀᴠɪᴅ Cᴏᴏᴘᴇʀ (Dam1710)’s chair and asked him to cut my hair shorter. I stared at myself in David’s mirror as he held my hair between his scissors and moved them up and down to gauge length. As he was holding his scissors at shoulder length I suddenly screamed,
Nooooooooo!
My hair ATM is about four years of growth (human hair grows at an average of 1/2″ per month or 6″ per year) and I couldn’t bear to chop it off. I really love my hair now and decided to keep it. Instead, I asked David just to freshen up the color. He gave my brown hair a nice copper tint and added some highlights.
Kate’s mane lives to slay another day!
