Wet Kitty

The Wet Kitty was not exactly the 2009 version of 2022’s CMNF Lounge. Wet Kitty was female only. CMNF Lounge is coed, but the women mostly dance and the men mostly sit and watch.

What Wet Kitty then, and CMNF Lounge today, share is a fun, easy-going, casual atmosphere with women in various states of undress. Nobody had to be naked in 2009, or in 2022, but at both places there was a tendency to take your clothes off over time.

Back in its day the Wet Kitty was a very busy place! So many people dancing. Solo dancing, couples dancing, groups of line dancing, and pole dancing.

I have no idea when the Wet Kitty closed, but it feels like it hasn’t been around for a long time. Just like in the PW, the hot club in SL is always a moving and elusive thing. Maybe like a blog that doesn’t get posts anymore there’s a certain sadness that something that was once active is now passive or gone. But there shouldn’t be. The fact that it existed once is pretty great! The moments shared in the old blog still, hopefully, remain. And through them we can remember moments at places like the Wet Kitty.
