Powers of Creation

Powers of Creation (POC) shoprunner Kai Heideman used to hire models, he called us “mannequins,” to show his clothing in the store.

Among the crew:

• Katherina Schapira
• Julia Springflower
• “The Fari”
• Yours Truly!
• And many others.

Kai sold a lot of plastic clothes. We dressed in crazy outfits and had a ridiculously joyous time there. The lowest paying, and most silly fun job I will ever have.

I think at the time we actually thought we looked sexy.

Maybe.
